1. Understanding & Optimization of Financing Costs

We track how much we pay each broker, understand pricing differences, identify which parts of our portfolio are most attractive, and actively optimize financing. We track financing costs annually and benchmark pricing versus the market. We don't know how much we pay each broker or whether our rates are competitive.

2. Cash Utilization Strategy

We optimize cash usage to achieve best rates for each type of usage. We follow a general cash management framework, but not on a daily or dynamic basis. We mostly leave cash at our prime brokers and only move it when required.

3. Infrastructure, Complexity & Technology

We have a consolidated treasury setup with modern tooling, real-time visibility, and minimal manual processes. Treasury is spread across teams, partially manual, and visibility is limited or delayed. Operations are highly manual, tech is fragmented, and reporting is reactive or retrospective.

4. Collateral & Margin Management

We actively optimize to post cheapest-to-deliver collateral and minimize funding drag. We don't trade many derivatives; our long positions cover margin, and the portfolio is relatively stable. We always use cash as margin and take a reactive approach to margin calls and collateral moves.

5. Recent Business or Strategy Changes

No major changes in strategy, AUM, or counterparty relationships. Moderate changes like new fund launches or strategy shifts. Significant growth, launches, or changes to financing arrangements in the past year.

6. Counterparty Management & Stability of Financing

We actively reward key brokers, maintain ample financing, and review upcoming market/regulatory changes. We have a general strategy around balance allocation and do periodic broker reviews. We are reactive to broker asks, lack balance placement strategy, and have limited visibility into financing stability.
